Hansteen Holdings PLC European Property Portfolio
Hansteen's extensive portfolio of industrial property is spread throughout Europe in Germany, the Netherlands, France, Belgium and the UK.
United Kingdom
2010 marked Hansteen's return to the UK. At the year end the Company had transacted £217 million of deals in the UK, £171 million of acquisitions and £46 million of sales, spread across Hansteen's balance sheet and the HPUT. Key transactions include the acquisitions of assets from the Kilmartin Group when it was in receivership for a total of £96.5 million.
Germany
Germany currently accounts for 66% of Hansteen's property portfolio. Following the acquisition in April 2010 of an 861,010 sq m German industrial property portfolio from HBI for €330 million, Hansteen now has over 1.3 million sq m of property in Germany valued at approximately £491 million.
The Netherlands
Hansteen own 33 properties in Netherlands extending to approximately 370,000 sq m. We have recently opened an office in Amsterdam, and undertake the asset management of our portfolio using our experienced and dedicated team. Our portfolio includes multi let industrial and office properties, together with large logistics buildings.
Belgium
We own a small portfolio of 13 properties in Belgium of mainly multi let industrials and offices. Our asset management operation is undertaken by our team based in Amsterdam, and we use local marketing and technical management teams to provide an efficient service for potential and existing tenants.
France
Hansteen owns three single user distribution facilities in Lyon, Bordeaux and Marseille totaling 61,730 sq m. Tenants of the French portfolio include Lidl and Dartess.
