About Hansteen Holdings PLC

Hansteen Holdings PLC, the commercial property REIT, was established by Ian Watson and Morgan Jones to take advantage of opportunities in industrial investment property in Europe.

Since its admission to AIM in 2005 and its subsequent move to the Official List of the LSE in 2009, Hansteen has carefully assembled an investment portfolio of predominantly industrial properties in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, France and the UK.

In May 2011, Hansteen raised £150 million of equity to take advantage of distressed property sales. Since that time the Company has acquired £305 million of properties, bringing total under management at 31 December 2012 to over £1 billion, including the Hansteen Property Unit Trust (HPUT). Comprising some 2.6 million sq m of space with over 2,800 tenants, the portfolio is characterised by low capital values and rents, a high current yield of over 8.4% and potential to add value through reducing vacancy.

By the end of 2012, Hansteen had in place focused and experienced in-house marketing and asset management teams based in strategic locations throughout the UK and Europe which has led to improvement in occupation across all our key regions.
